Katie and others on selection weekend in
Derbyshire - June 2007.
This was a very grueling weekend, they had little sleep
and not a lot to eat.
In March 2008, Katie was invited to Ranby House School to talk to the boarders about her forth coming expedition.
In March 2008 Katie was
invited to Wilkinsons head office where Nick Wilkinson
presented her with a cheque.
A board advertising Katie's expedition was mounted on the front of one of her grandpa's tractors during a vintage tractor run in April 2008.
